Custom Drapery Panels Two Stories Long

Custom Drapery Panels, Long and Proud

Custom Drapery Panels add warmth to a tall window more than any other treatment. These draperies are done in a beautiful Kravet designer upholstery fabric, but it’s the perfect choice for this application. The weight of the fabric adds to the drama of the height of the window treatment.

The fabric has a woven embellishment to it that’s hard to see in the photograph, but beautifully enhanced in the room. The custom drapery panels hang perfectly, lined and interlined, hand-sewn hems, pinch-pleated and topped by 3″ iron poles with 4″ ball finials.

In most rooms, the size of the drapery hardware would overpower the windows, but here it’s perfect. The finish is an oil-rubbed bronze that blends perfectly with the tones in the fabric as well as the yellow painted walls.

This job has been done long distance. Our interior design team has chosen fabrics, shipped them to him for approval, then fabricated the job by his measurements. He has installed everything himself with the help of a local installer. This is one of many rooms we’ve done for this client over the past four years.
