Box-Pleated Balloon Valances with Contrasting Accents
There’s a lot of detail in these box-pleated balloon valances. All the pleat faces match perfectly, then there’s a contrast color inside the folds of the pleats that wraps around the face about 1″ on each side.
We added 1″ contrast cording to the top, dressed them neatly and hung them high to give height to the room, but still allowing the stripe wallpaper to frame them at the top.
Again, these are fitting on two different sized windows but we worked out the math in a way to make them look uniform. Only a workroom with an eye for detail can put this much attention in each window treatment.
