Cotton Chintz, an Arch plus Trimmed Swags Cascades and Jabots Create Perfection
I did this window treatment about 25 years ago, early in my career (as evidenced by the excessive puddling), but it’s still beautiful today. This makes me want to call the client to see if she still has it. I’m betting that she does.
The fabric was a beautiful designer chintz, probably Cowtan and Tout or Brunschwig and Fils that had a crisp feel to it that doesn’t normally make easy work of swags, but it made beautiful work of them here.
Different fabrics are good for different window treatments, but with enough patience, most can work for everything.
